so for almost a week I've been trying to install a CS4 Web Premium upgrade from CS2 on my PC and it just won't work.
Both CS4 Web Premium and CS2 Premium are registered to my account. It was a license transfer if that makes any difference whatsoever.
I tried registry cleaners as suggested somewhere, I contacted the customer service (via the chat window), I read these forums...
The installer correctly recognizes the serial number as an upgrade but on the upgrade check screen it only offers me to select CS3 products.
Customer service suggested holding Ctrl+Shift and double clicking the window to generate a challenge code but it doesn't do anything.
I then tried it on my laptop just in case something was wrong with my PC but nope - same problem.
I used the Adobe Cleaner Tool which didn't help either. I uninstalled virus scanners just in case they were causing problems... Nothing. Still stuck on the upgrade screen.
Customer service have repeatedly asked me to go through these steps Error: "This serial number is not for a qualifying product" | CS6, CS5.5, CS5 but I've done this so many times now...
Is it anything to do with the CS2 activation servers having been shut down?
Can I generate that challenge code any other way?
Please can anyone help me with this?
