A co-worker asked me to re-save his jpeg files to jpg, but when I try to re-save in Photoshop, it lumps them both together under jpeg, even though the default file extension in the file name field is jpg.
He's dealing with a finicky website he's trying to upload his photos to; it's complaining that his jpeg files need to be jpg files.
I told him to just try to manually re-type the file extension in Windows to jpg.
But then he emailed me all of his jpeg files, so it seems that didn't work.
I'm re-saving them all in Photoshop to jpg, but I'm wondering if that's really going to do anything?
