I recently moved aproxx 10 folders from my harddrive to an external harddrive to create some space on my computer (via pictures->to the external hhd -> then imported them in lightroom again). Now im getting back to work i noticed that the photos have moved over in the catalog, but all the edits and flags etc have dissapeared, so its back to the original files.... and the collections corresponding with the moved catalog files only state the folder names but show the content as 0.
I did not back up my catalogue for ages so I cannot get them back that way.. is there a way I can find the collections somewhere else, or is there something I can do so that lightroom puts the edit data on the photos again? I already tried the missing file troubleshoot + moved the 10 folders back to the hd where they first where and optimised the catalogue but that all didnt work..
is it really true if you move catalogue folders lightroom deletes your editing data of this folders and the files in them?
