My work involves PDF to image conversion. I have clients in the U.S. and Canada, all of whom are professional graphic designers. With one of these accounts, the colors will randomly shift (going from normal to cyan) from page to page after the conversion. It's just visible enough to be noticeable. Sometimes it's across a spread where photos and other page elements cross the gutter. I believe the problem is in the client's PDFs, since it only happens with this one person. I've asked the client if there is anything unusual about how they are created; answer no. I've done online research on ways to diagnose color traits in a PDF, but none of the recommendations have helped me "see" exact details of the color traits in each page file. I must be overlooking something. Tips?
