Re: Want to temporarily de-activate CS-6 (web and design premium), but not the Creative Cloud. Serial number is the same for both. How do I just de-activate CS6? When I go into help and de-activate it shows Creative Cloud, not CS-6

Thanks so much Steve, for trying to help. It unfortunately did not work. My Creative Cloud does have a serial number (in addition to my Adobe ID). When I run Belarc Advisor the software license numbers are the same for my CS6 and CC programs. When I logged out of CC as you suggested above, and tried to open CS6, it prompted for my Adobe log-in and treated Illustrator CS6 as a trial version ( I originally had the full-on version and a serial number) and there was no where to type that in. It opened the program and when I opened the menu to deactivate--that selection was grayed out, thus unselectable. Adobe does not want us to be able to go back to the CS versions--they want to have us beholden to the CC subscription. I am planning on keeping my CC subscription, but will be retiring from my current company the end of the year and will be transferring my CC to my personal account and email. Just don't want to lose all my old stuff when I do that.
