Ok, so if the resolution got set to 72, you want it back to 300. Correct?
Image > Image Size Then uncheck Resample, because you only want to correct your Print Size.
Set Resolution to 300 ppi, click OK.
Close the file, it will ask you to save, do so at quality 12. It should now be 300.
