I have a canon Pixma printer (with canon CUPS driver) that can print in A4 and A3. Until recently I had no problems printing large images from inside photoshop. p.s. on mac os Yosemite, on 2.3ghz macpro. and only mod i can associate this with is one of the numerous CC updates that seem to be issued.
Recently something has happened and even though everything is set to A3, images printed from inside photoshop come out as if on A4 - that is, cropped, misplaced and with the cartridge dump line down one side.
This only happens in photoshop, no other program, but i would rather print direct form photoshop.
I have (approximately in this order):
changed print settings to a4, saved, reopened and set to a3
tried different image files,
cleared permissions,
reset printer settings,
reinstalled the printer drivers,
repaired disk, and permissions,
removed all other printers and repeated all above
uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop
jumped up and down in anguish at the waste of paper, expensive ink etc that this is all creating.
Uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop was the only thing that worked........ for one solitary print, before going back to not working.
(i did close down photoshop between prints)
I'm currently trying a different language version of photoshop to see if that works (as I had been using english-arabic), but have no wish to uninstall and reinstall photoshop every time i want to print something
Any ideas what I'm missing?
