Acrobat Standard XI stops working while using it

I am using Acrobat XI standard on a Windows 7 PRO SP1 machine and while using the program I keep getting the error Acrobat has stopped working, and the program closes.  I restart it and it works fine for a while, then the same thing happens again.

This is what is in the Windows event viewer reports:

I have been working on editing some submittal forms for work, and adding password security.  This happens about once an hour.

 

Anyone have any ideas on fixing this issue?
