arij2010, yes, and it worked. Then I tried to figure out how to fix the problem with my current account (also asked here above for help), and after it didn't work I ended up formatting the computer and installing everything from scratch.

 

In the new install I didn't use the migration service of the Mac, which meant the Library folder (including Adobe's preferences) was not transferred. Now the system works fine.

 

It's unfortunate that the CC app doesn't clean its data from the library folder. This should be a basic feature.

VBA to edit PDF

Hi,

 

I need my excel VBA to do the following:

 

1) find my PDF

2) open my PDF in PDF XChange Viewer

3) add textboxes at a specific location

 

my file is C:\Users\a\Desktop\Document.pdf

my XChange viewer directory is C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF Viewer\PDFXCView.exe

 

Anyone able to help pls? thanks!

Well, to get that value, you'd need to check app.preferences object.

Just downloaded the latest update ADE 4.5.8.

 

Search feature FIXED

URL links STILL NOT FIXED (in fact they do not work at all now!!)

IN-BUILT navigation page cropping STILL NOT FIXED (strange zooming when clicking the in-biult navigation)

I have tried changing the button state to 'Inherit Zoom, Actual Size, and Fit Width' and ALL have had no effect! [SEE BELOW]

 

This is getting really frustrating for us as we're trying to complete an ePub for a well know global client and its starting to make us look bad and unprofessional!!

I have the same problem.
It's not the first time it happen.

 

I sent two projects from AE, it rendered the first video and the second one too but the file is 0 Ko.
The render took 6 hours, so if there is a way to find the temp file somewhere in the PC I would prefere this solution rather than spending 6 more hours...

It wasn't my intention to take your tweet ("WYSIWYG is the future and hardcoding HTML is dead") out of its context, but let's not quote me either out of its context ("No WYSIWYG tool can cater and code for them all").

 

To be absolutely clear on this, I was addressing the need for coding for mid-sized to larger websites, which require all kinds of scripts, queries, frameworks, and APIs to be technically integrated into the development of a website, and to have these aspects appropriately customised within the design. Such projects and tasks require a huge amount of hand-coding !

 

Muse hit a sweet-spot, but got stuck in the middle. Smaller websites were going to online DIY services, and larger ones were split up across a team of assorted disciplines. Add the myriad of problems with responsive and the "rogue" characteristic of Muse to the calculation (an app not chiming in with Adobe's goal to hook the tool up in its scheme of marketing services), and you understand why it had to go down...

I had the same error with Elements 14. The effect was I was unable to save ANY photo files in the Editor, and trying to change the Ram preferences just gave this error - this rendered the entire Adobe software useless. It seemed to start fairly recently, perhaps after the recent April Creators Update.

 

Anyway I applied the registry fix, and then was immediately able to change the Ram preferences. Instant success, the system is now back in action - it starts much faster too.

 

This problem seems so serious to me I am really surprised that a company like Adobe can let it go on for so long without a fix. I was seriously about to abandon Adobe for an alternative!!

Can't reposition/resize in Premiere when i double click the program monitor

Hey you guys!

 

I can't drag/resize a clip in my program monitor when I double click it, which used to always work. I was thinking maybe there's a new button I've not heard of or something? The only time double clicking the program monitor to reposition a clip actually works is when I double click (on the program monitor) the shot I want to reposition and then scroll over to another clip, double click it (on the program monitor), then come back to the clip I actually want to reposition and double click it (on the program monitor). I've reinstalled premiere a bunch of times and I've also switched back and forth from using "mercury playback engine gpu acceleration (cuda)" to "mercury playback engine software only" under my project settings and the issue persists no matter what.

 

It's been a while I've had this problem and I can't stand it anymore so I thought I'd just ask all my fellow editors out there.

お伝え頂いた内容だけでは原因の特定が難しいのですが、キャッシュの問題やファイル内に外部サイトからのパス情報が含まれている等、いくつか原因が考えられます。

 

ファイルがサイトの定義で設定されているローカルルートフォルダ内に保存されているかどうか、ファイルパスに日本語や記号が含まれていないか、別のブラウザで問題が再現するかどうか等をご確認 下さい。

 

その他、以下のサイト記載の情報を併せてご確認頂ければと思います。

 

 

また、Dreamweaverの環境設定「リアルタイムプレビュー」にある「一時ファイルを使用してプレビュー」にチェックを入れた状態、既にチェックされていた場合はは外した状態で動作をお 試し下さい。

 

上記それぞれご確認頂きやはり問題が解決しない場合は、プレビューを失敗した際のスクリーンショットをご提供頂けると、より具体的な解決策をご提案できるかもしれません。ご協力お願い致します 。

Hi

Is you document 8 bits/channel RGB (Image >Mode)? Filter gallery will not work with 16 bit or 32 bits documents or CMYK

Normally, I can't run .ipa on XCode Simulator on my Mac, because it is built for ARM-architecture. Is there a way to build it for x86?

 

Or any other working solution to launch it on XCode Simulator?

Hardware suggestions for on set off-loading and home editing?

Hello,

 

I just upgraded a few elements of my PC and I'm wondering if you guys have suggestions on how to set up my existing SSDs/ if I should get anything new.

 

My typical workflow will be:

  • Recording on URSA Mini Pro to 480GB SSDs
  • Either traveling home and offloading the footage on my desktop OR
  • Offloading footage on set (ideally to two places at the same time)

Current equipment: I5 8600k (new)

Z370 gigabyte aorus gaming 5 Mobo (new)

16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram (planning on adding more)

Gtx 1060

2x Samsung 250gb 860 Evo SSDs

2x WD Green 250gb SSDs

1x barricuda pro 4TB HDD

USB 3.0 Dual SSD/HDD dock

Some USB 3.0 Lacie/WD external HDDs and a 2014 Macbook 15 Inch for on-set (2 thunderbolt ports and 2 USB3.0 ports)

So with all that out of the way, what would you do in my situation? I could set up the SATA SSDs in Raid 0 and use it just as a Media drive (original files backed up in 2 places) and get an M.2 SSD for OS/Project files? Or sell some of the SSDs and replace them with M.2 drives (I have 3 M.2 slots on the mobo). Portable SSD Raid for fast on-set offloading?? Stick to thunderbolt/USB3 drives for on set offloading and live with the 100-150mbps transfer rate? I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Success!

 

I think I have also got to the bottom of the problem.

 

After uninstalling LR Classic CC, the Creative Cloud App was then prompting me to Update another, older, version of LR. Seems that when updating from the older version of LR CC to LR Classic CC, it maybe didn't do it cleanly and tidy up the previous version.

 

So, having removed both versions of LR and then re-installed just LR Classic CC, all now appears to be working correctly.

totally tried all the provided »solutions«, restarted a bazillion times, repaired permissions and file structure, used a new admin account but nothing helps. i don't want to do a new install of my OS! plz!
